New Countertop Standard Proposed By AWI
A new countertop standard is being submitted to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for public comment and canvass. Developed by the Architectural Woodwork Institute’s Standards Development Team, AWI 1236–Countertops will provide standards and tolerances for the quality and fit of countertops, along with establishing minimum aesthetic and performance requirements.
