New Cellulose-Based Superglue

New Cellulose-Based Superglue

Created by international research team from the University of British Columbia, Aalto University, the University of Tokyo and Sichuan University have recently developed a bio-based superglue. This glue has enough strength to hold up to 90kg weight, but can still be easily removed “by the touch of a finger”. Elsewhere, a Michelin-led project called BioImpulse is aiming to create a new adhesive resin without any “substances of very high concern” (SVHC) classified compounds.
